Arapahoe Wind Ensemble Awarded Superior Ratings at the CHSAA Large Group Music Festival

Centennial, Colorado—The Arapahoe High School Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Ed Cannava, was awarded superior ratings in performance and sight reading at the CHSAA Large Group Music Festival, held at Rock Canyon High School on April 4^th. The Symphonic Band achieved a high excellent rating in performance, and a superior rating in sight reading. The Concert Band received unanimous excellent ratings in performance. Student teacher, Mr. Nicholas Hinman, conducted the Concert Band, and also performed one selection with the Symphonic Band.

Instructors include: Fran Piazza, Flute; Michael Vigliotti, Oboe; Debbie Torp, Bassoon: Heather Davis, Clarinet; Tait Solberg, Saxophone; Missy Steinbock, Trumpet; Ron Torp, Horn; Jeff Craig, Low Brass; and Fred Bowlus, Percussion.
