Centennial, Colorado—Juniors Grant Furry, Tuba; Madison Munn, Clarinet; Lisa Stippich, Bassoon; Kevin Matthews, Percussion; Senior Nicole Jensen, Clarinet; and Sophomore Mark Weller, Bass Clarinet; have been selected to perform in this year’s University of Colorado Honor Band. Junior Horn player, Sarah Cheney, was selected as an alternate. Over 380 students from 68 high schools throughout Colorado auditioned for the band. This year’s CU Honor Band Concert will take place at Macky Auditorium in Boulder on Saturday, February 28th, at 7:30pm. Dr. Ed Cannava is Arapahoe’s Director of Bands.
