Arapahoe Band
to Host 2A/3A/4A/5A Metro
Marching Band
Qualifying Festival
Centennial,
Colorado—The Arapahoe Warrior Marching Band will host this year’s 2A/3A/4A/5A
Metro Denver Marching Band Qualifying Festival at the Littleton Public Schools
Stadium on October 13, 2008. This
competition will seed a portion of the 40 bands to the state competition on
October 24-27. The top eight 2A, top ten
3A, top twenty 4A and top twenty 5A bands across the
state will compete at the 2008 Colorado State Marching Band Championships.
Performing
on October 13th will be:
Overland (3:30pm), Sheridan (3:45pm), Castle View (4:00pm), Centaurus
(4:15pm), Englewood (4:30pm), Elizabeth (4:45pm), Evergreen (5:00pm), Conifer
(5:15pm), Arvada (5:30pm), Standley Lake (5:45pm), Wheat Ridge (6:30pm), Dakota
Ridge (6:45pm), Broomfield (7:00pm), Columbine (7:15pm), Ralston Valley
(7:30pm), Monarch (7:45pm), Littleton (8:00pm), Heritage (8:15pm), and Green
Mountain (8:30pm). A special exhibition
performance by the UNC “Pride of the
Tickets
are $8.00 for adults, $6.00 for students and senior citizens, and children
under 6 may enter free of charge. Please
