Arapahoe Concert Bands Awarded Superior Ratings at the CHSAA Large Group Music Festival
Centennial,
Colorado—The Arapahoe High School Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band and Concert
Band, under the direction of Dr. Ed Cannava, were awarded superior ratings in
performance and sight reading at the CHSAA Large Group Music Festival, held at
Rock Canyon High School on April 9th.
The Wind Ensemble received perfect scores from two of the judges at the
festival
.
Arapahoe’s instructional staff includes: Fran Piazza, Flute; Michael Vigliotti, Oboe; Debbie Torp, Bassoon: Heather Davis, Clarinet; Tait Solberg, Saxophone; Missy Steinbock, Trumpet; Ron Torp, Horn; Joe Walsh, Low Brass; and Fred Bowlus, Percussion.
