Arapahoe High School Jazz Musicians Selected to 2009 All Star Jazz Band

Centennial, Colorado—Junior Drummer, Kevin Matthews; Sophomore Bassist, Andrew Ryan; and Sophomore Saxophonist, Ian Rictor; all from Arapahoe High School, have been selected to perform in the prestigious 2009 Mile High Jazz Festival All Star Band.  The All Star Band will perform at the annual Colorado Bandmasters Association Convention in July, and will be featured on KUVO’s “Live at the Oasis:  High School/

Collegiate Jazz Showcase” radio show, sponsored by Flesher-Hinton Music Company.

Dr. Ed Cannava is Arapahoe’s Jazz Band Director.
